    Overview

    Our vision is to help Financial Institutions across the world in transforming their risk & compliance management functions to address emerging industry challenges and regulatory expectations through consulting and technology offerings. You will be part of a large global consulting team (350+) with a significant presence in the US, UK, and APMEA specialising in various areas of risk and compliance. Working with this team will give you the opportunity to work with leading banks in the world and help them to transform their risk and control functions while providing ample opportunities for you to learn the leading practices adopted by these institutions.

    We are hiring a compliance specialist, as part of our expansion and footprints in Financial Risk offerings, more tuned towards Third Party Risk Management with a practical experience in the TPRM and operational risk management (ORM).

    You will need to support and review the TPRM practices for clients end to end including their policies, frameworks, methodologies, governance and reporting. We expect this candidate to emerge as our leader and SME for TPRM practices at Wipro in the future with responsibility of managing multiple engagements and client relationships.

    Responsibilities
    • Support Wipro risk leaders in TPRM & ORM offerings for BFSI clients
    • Participate in transformation programmes involving changes to TPRM & ORM, GRC practices to define model risk appetite, policies, procedures and technology implementations.
    • Build or validate TPRM models with ability to work effectively with model development, validation teams.
    • Work with Wipro leadership team to publish point of views on TPRM.
    • Providing technical guidance and interpretation of prudential regulations related to TPRM from PRA and other European regulators.
    • Work effectively as part of broader Wipro and client project teams to support our clients manage their regulatory programmes.
    • Lead and manage teams and individuals to support meeting client demands as well as people development, mentoring and leadership.

    Key Skills, Competencies & Experience:

    Technical understanding of TPRM & ORM
    • Regulatory definition of Model vs Methods and Model Risk Appetite
    • TPRM Model Risk Management Governance and Reporting
    • Model Life Cycle management including knowledge of Technology Solutions and key functionalities to support model life cycle management
    • Significant knowledge of the financial services industry and in particular leading industry practices around model risk management
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-expert audiences
    Consulting Skills:
    • Prior experience working in reputed consulting firms (e.g., Big 4) or with ORM or/and TPRM teams with global banks
    • Proactive and delivery focused with excellent communication skills and an organised approach to completing activities and deliverables
    • Able to confidently present ideas to inform and influence leadership decisions
    • Strong facilitation skills to elicit information from key stakeholders, both internally and externally
    • Proven and demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
