A long established and successful IFA based out of Hertford are seeking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. They have 4 Financial Planner plus a support team and are seeking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to work on a 121 basis alongside one of their most senior FPs. The role would consist of -Holistic financial planning, with the primary areas of business being:

• Investment Planning and Financial Management
• Pension Planning pre and post retirement
• Trusts and IHT Estate Planning
• Group Personal Pensions and Group Risk Benefits

The role would be based in Hertford, although they are happy for someone to work from home 1 day a week, and entail:

• Working primarily with 1 adviser but occasionally supporting other advisers as and when necessary
• Undertaking research using our in-house investment panel and that provided by 3rd Party compliance support company, Threesixty Services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is crucial
• Knowledge of Intelliflo, Cashcalc, FE, Invu and E-Value software packages/systems would be beneficial
• Drafting suitability reports (templates are provided by Threesixty)
• Liaising with product providers and dealing with general administration
• Basic salary c. £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Discretionary bonus of up to £5,000 per annum
• Auto enrolment pension with 3% employer contribution
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the office is generally closed over the Christmas holidays
