Financial Crime Assurance Manager

This is a Financial Crime Assurance Manager contract role working in a financial services company leading the reviews of flagged risks within the business.

The key responsibilities for this role includes:

• Executing the Risk Based Financial Crime Compliance Assurance Plan across Ring-Fenced Bank (RFB) Financial Crime Risk Management activities; and
• Objectively assessing compliance with agreed internal policy, legal obligations and regulatory expectations through completion of assurance activities.

The key experience and knowledge required for this role includes:

• Proven experience in managing a team and leading others
• Broad understanding of Financial Services, with an awareness of the political and economic environment RFB operates in
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of EU and UK financial crime framework, regulations, industry trends, best practice, and guidance
• Excellent understanding of the Quality and Assurance framework
• Experience in an assurance/risk management role with a Financial Crime focus
