Fire Damper Engineer Solihull £24,000-£30,000 + Bonuses & Company Vehicle One of our brilliant clients are currently looking for an experienced Fire Damper Engineer. They are a family run company who specialise in Air Hygiene & Fire Safety services and have been serving facilities maintenance, property maintenance and catering industries for over 40 years. Due to a continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced fire damper engineer to join their award-winning team in the West Midlands. If you are an experienced and enthusiastic individual with fire/smoke damper experience, then this could be the career move for you. Fire Damper Engineer Key tasks & Duties: Fault finding and reporting any fire/smoke damper issues. Installing and replacing all types of fire and smoke dampers. Careful removal of ceiling tiles and access panels to access the dampers. Documenting and recording all work and locations of work completed. Fire escape, fire door and emergency lighting testing and servicing. Fire & Smoke Damper maintenance, repairs, and services in accordance with BS:9999 & RRFSO 2005Fire Damper Engineer Skills & Qualifications: NVQ level 2 in fire stopping will be beneficial. You will need to be flexible with working hours. You must have experience working with fire damper already. Must be willing to travel and have a full UK driving licence. You must be happy working in confined spaces and at height.The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive industry salary depending on experience, a company benefits package including a vehicle, fuel card, phone, PPE, and all tools.
